Dear Fireflies,

Lost Light is scheduled for a server update at 02:00 (UTC) on August 18th, 2022. The estimated duration is 2 hours. Your game experience will be affected during the update. We recommend waiting until the update is complete. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause! Please restart the client after the update to experience the new content. We will send a small gift to your mailbox for your troubles.


Update content:

This Season's Shelter box function goes live. First, Fireflies can put items (non-containers) in the Shelter box. Then, after creating a new character by using the same account in the next season, players can receive the items in the Shelter box. Since the data will be wiped soon, please use the Shelter box reasonably to avoid unnecessary losses.

Premium users have an increased exclusive privilege of the Shelter box.During the access period of the Shelter Box, players with β Premiums will get an additional two slots of capacity!

Data wipe:

Lost Light servers will be suspended for the data wipe on September 1st, 2022, at 02:00 (UTC). Thank you very much for all the valuable suggestions given during testing. Based on the most common suggestions, we have made changes and optimizations to the game's next version.

The official launch of the game will take place on the same day. It is enough to just update the game to participate in testing. Still, it is recommended to download and reinstall the game. Thank you for your continued support of Lost Light and valuable feedback.

[Data wipe details]

All game account data, including nickname, items, level, etc., will be deleted.

The Shelter Box, Bounty Coins, Friends list, received avatars, and avatar frames will be retained. In addition, ranked mode ranks will be inherited according to the rules.

*Note: After the data wipe, you must create a new character. To ensure the successful inheritance of saved items and rank, we strongly recommend linking your game account to your social network account. After the wipe, use the same account when logging in. In case you are using a guest account, log in from the same account and the same device as before.


[Notice of top-up test rebate]

1.The period of May 31st - August 31st is the second phase of testing the purchase system. LP currency top-ups made during this test will be rebated according to specific rebate rules during the next purchase system test. All items and game currency purchased during this period will be deleted.

2. After the next stage of the purchase system test on September 1st starts, LP currency top-ups made during this test will be rebated according to specific rebate rules. Players can log in to the account that participated in the previous test and receive the top-up rebate rewards on the [Top-up Rebate] event interface. The rebate rewards for one account can only be received once. Please confirm your character is created on the same server as in the previous period. For details of the rebate rules, please refer to the description of the event.

3.For those Fireflies who have participated in the Top-up Rebate event of multiple test periods. The top-up amount of each test will be calculated separately and refunded through the [Top-up Rebate] event after the data wipe on September 1st.

[Light Points (LP) rebate rules]

a. 150% rebate for 2,000 LP;

b. 120% rebate for 2,000 < LP ≤ 5,000;

c. 100% rebate for LP > 5,000


Only LP obtained through cash top-up are eligible for the rebate (does not include the top-up bonus LP). LP rebating of the top-ups made during these two phases of the purchase system testing will be calculated separately. The LP top-up rebate will be made during the official launch of the purchase system.

The Premium purchases will also be rebated after the GRAND LAUNCH. The rebate for 1-month Premium α is 300 LP, and for 1-month Premium β, 680 LP.
