Fireflies, greetings.

The CBT of Lost Light just ended. We appreciate all the supports and contributions you’ve made to this CBT. Each suggestion and feedback matters and can help us improve the quality of Lost

Light. During the CBT, lots of suggestions include but are not limited to game settings, UI designs, in-battle experience, as well as character designs have been received. Here, we want to share

some ideas of the current game version and our future plans.

THE ASPIRATION OF THE DEVELOPMENT: TO INTRODUCE A REALISTIC “EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCE IN THE WAR” FOR PLAYERS

In Lost Light, we endeavor to provide a unique yet authentic war experience to our players. Conventional shooter games tend to focus on elevating the intensity of combat, but war is beyond

bloodshed and carnage—it is a torrent of devastation that involves soldiers and innocent civilians. In wartime, the emotions of individuals are connected and magnified, intertwining moments of

despair and hope and revealing the complexity of humanity.

With this goal in mind, we aim to introduce these complicated sentiments into our game rather than simply providing a battleground for players to shoot and loot. Therefore, we created the in-battle partnership function to resonate with the helplessness in death and human survival instinct. Beyond the option of shooting and looting, players may choose to spare an enemy and partner-up with

them. At the same time, we introduce the free trade system to emphasize the scarcity of resources and allow players to barter with one another. Some can even make a fortune through "buying low and selling high." All the socializing pathways mentioned above are mere means. Players have to make their own decision on how to utilize them, and hopefully, create a memorable experience

during the process.

As we continue to improve the game, we strive to broaden the spectrum of "Realistic War Experience" by introducing more innovative social functions in future updates. Through the vast yet

interconnected network of Lost light, everyone involved can share a collective war experience that is both mutual and distinctive.

THE STORY OF LOST LIGHT: THE REASON WHY PLAYERS ARE “FIREFLIES”

In 2040, a catastrophe befell City T, a metropolitan area where the transnational corporation, Ark, is located. Those who failed to evacuate were left behind, and the city was put on lockdown.

Two years later, your character receives an executive order to join the "Firefly" task force and venture into the lockdown zone. Years of desolation has reduced City T to a brutal domain where

danger lurks in every corner and dread spreads like diseases. Amid constant threat, do you have what it takes to unveil the sinister plot behind the lockdown zone and make it out in one piece?

As the name implies, "Firefly" represents and embodies the last light amid the darkness. Players are tasked to investigate the lockdown zone, reveal the truth, restore order, and survive the ordeal.

As for other concerned topics such as tests in the iOS platform and other regions, we will launch them when they are ready. Please allow us more time to polish Lost Light. For some frequently asked questions, the following content may reveal the direction.

1. WILL THERE BE MORE PLAYABLE MODES AND OTHER NEW FEATURES?

That is for sure. The Closed Beta Test is our very first test, so only the most basic gameplays are available. The focus of the following development will be in-battle social functions that encourage

interaction with other players, gameplays that elevate the intensity of battling, and gun modification system with more options and a higher degree of freedom. Other than that, more customization

contents such as character outfits are in development as well. At the same time, a new map under development is about to be released soon (some of you may have learned that it is a Harbor

map).

2. M416? THERMAL SCOPE? DEAGLE AND KRISS VECTOR?

As a shooter game, the gun-related issues are always our priorities. Besides the currently released types of guns, we are working non-stop on more guns of different types, including pistols, rifles, and snipers, etc. More guns will be available later. Apart from expanding the options of guns, we try to model and present more realistic gun damages so to improve players’ in-battle experience.

The shooting training grounds for practice will be added in the future as well. In there, you can test your modified guns and adjust them to fully prepare yourself before stepping into the lockdown

zone.

3. WHY DID YOU GUYS LOWER THE DOG TAG PRICE?

We have noticed that players kill each other mercilessly to obtain as many dog tags as possible, which is not something we want to see. We introduced the in-game “Team-up” function and try to

encourage players to befriend others and fight together. Besides, we will introduce more social-oriented gameplays and improve the experience related to them. Rather than simply loot and kill

each other for in-game coins, we valuate more about the connections between each player. To reduce the incentives of killing each other, we lower the price of dog tags.

Other than the contents mentioned above, improvement of graphics as well as game performance, and maintenance of the fairness of the game environment are also where we will put great

efforts in. You are more than welcome to send us feedback and suggestions in the follow-up tests so to help us make Lost Light a better game together.

Lastly, we would like to thank you again for your participation in this CBT. How lucky we are that although each of us is a small individual in the great world, we are able to meet each other in the

world of Lost Light.
